PETER
M FRIESS
lives and works now in Brussels. He was born
in Germany where he was educated in theories
of colours and composition.
His
pictorial language is developed by constantly
re-arranging motifs, colours and outlines, and
by applying different levels of abstraction.
Within
the scope of Abstract expressionism, Art informel
and Minimal Art, the paintings are far more
than the sum of any particular style or technique
– their creative force is based on their
spontaneity, which keeps the very nature of
the subject or intention.
The
focus of PETER M FRIESS’s artistic enterprise
is the transformation of objects into ever-changing
emotional values – concentrating on the
essential is of utmost importance.
