Rachel Stewart is a native of Wales but has been living in Amsterdam for 17 years. Rachel began painting theatre sets for pocket money and then spent 10 years working for advertising agencies. She began working as a full-time artist in 2003. Her current series of work is inspired by life in the Benelux compromising larger-than-life tulip paintings, zany cityscapes, and landscapes.
