Anita Bates

Originally from Birmingham Anita has been living in Brussels for the last 2 years. Brussels is a great cosmopolitan city and is hugely different than her background in the surburbs of Brum. But yet the city has got a great deal in company with the place of her birth, they are both landlocked places. Although the coast is closer by now, and the canals are interesting in both cities, the pursuit of Anita's art is found in warmer waters.

 

Anita has always had a keen interest in both art and photography, and by bringing these 2 elements together and putting them underwater, she hopes to express a different view of the underwater world.
