Gary Hare is a British artist, currently living in Brussels, Belgium.
Artistically creative from a young age, he started exhibiting work in millennium year 2000 following strong encouragement from friends and family. His exhibits are a product of continuous, evolutionary work using colour and movement as a major point of experimentation.
The increasingly sophisticated capabilities of ‘paint’ media software has enabled Gary to forego traditional brush and oil - adapting his fine art techniques and expressing his emotions through his computer and the ever evolving media of digital art. He works from scratch - creating original figures, manipulating photos or a combination of these elements. Composition, experimentation and final output is done using a variety of natural media programmes which put a vast range of virtual brushes and tools his disposal – every single pixel is painted, pushed, pulled, manipulated and refined ad nauseam until the end result is as required.
Final output is professionally printed to high grade canvas and tensioned stretcher frames. Work is normally produced in small limited editions of only 5 or 10 pieces – thus affordable but still very original.
A participant in BAAF 2007, Hare has exhibited in Cyprus and Belgium, showcasing new work in Brussels twice a year. In addition to a growing client base in Belgium, Hare’s work has wall space in Greece, Cyprus, Israel, UK, France, Germany, Holland, Luxembourg, Switzerland and USA.
Gary Hare continues to add to a vibrant collection of illustrative work. His art can be viewed on-line at www.absolutearts.com/portfolios/g/garyhare/ or simply go Google > Gary Hare and follow the link.
