Emma is from Zimbabwe, where she lived until she left to study Fine Art in England. “My African roots remain an inspiration to my painting, although I have lived and worked in Brussels for ages… For me, it goes into my painting, and when someone feels a connection to a particular piece of art, I think they are feeling and perhaps relating to that energy.” At the Antwerp Fair Emma will be showing a new series of paintings with wire on canvas, as well as as some resin on wood pieces – lots of people and faces.
